Flora is a solo artist, one half of the duo AM/FM and one third of the trio CircusFM.

She guests regularly with The Berrie Big Band. Inspired by the sound of the 1920s from an early age, she channels a smoky, sultry jazz vibe, and her beguiling vocals are enriched with influences from folk to rhythm & blues. She has the natural ability to get inside a song, capture the intimacy and tell the story.

Flora also helped bring to life the work of 19th Century Scottish physicist James Clerk Maxwell on an album of original poems set to music, commissioned for UNECSO International Year of Light 2015. This project evolved into a live musical lecture - Music For Maxwell - which Flora, together with a small ensemble, continues to tour across the UK to arts & science festivals.
